Amelia Community Thanksgiving GHBC can help with food donations: non-perishables (boxed potatoes and stuffing, canned vegetables/yams, jarred gravy). Bring to church and place in boxes downstairs by the kitchen by Nov. 22nd. They also need volunteers to help prep meals and serve. Christmas Eve Service On December 24th at 5pm there will be a Christmas Eve Service. Please come and celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior!

Nursery and Pre-k Toys Needed The Children's Ministry is looking for some new or like-new toys families may have stored around and looking to donate. Any toys not used in the children's ministry will be donated for others in need! Questions Contact Erin

SOS Christmas Special Giving GHBC has begun to collect a Christmas Donation for SOS Ministries in Uganda. We will be collecting this special offering between November 1st and December 31st. Our goal this year is $8000. Please put on your check in the memo section “Special SOS”.

New Outreach for Our Veterans ***NEW TIMES AND FORMAT*** Liberation Veteran Services 1201 Hull Street Road, 23224 (No Veteran Should Be Homeless) This is a unique Outreach opportunity to serve breakfast and share in the meal and proclaim the Gospel to homeless Veterans on the 3rd Sat of each month, next one is Dec 21st we meet at 9:45 and serve at 10:00. Pregnancy Support Center of Southside VA. This is a life-affirming, Christian ministry offering support to pregnant women, fathers and their families. Wellspring (Amelia) Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Join us on the second Sunday of the month @ 2PM as we minister to those that are shut in and cannot come out for services There will be a short message along with worship singing with the residents.
